ACTIVE CELL PROTECTION

The skin does not age just because of the years, but also because of the world we live in. Therefore, the skin should be protected from  the second life decade on from harmful environmental influences, since they produce many free radicals in the skin.

Free radicals are aggressive, split off oxygen molecules which penetrate into our body and skin cells and deteriorate them. This leads to a malfunction and to premature skin ageing. To act against that, the CONCENTRATE I contains a radical protective complex based on rutin and melissa, which binds the free racials and protects the skin from their negative effects.

The patented cell protection agent ectoin in the MASK III is a very effective skin care component which contributes to reverse the unhealthy effects of the sunrays, pollution and stress, to which we are exposed on a daily basis. The repairing of the skin to reduce UV damage is supported, to specifically prevent premature photo-ageing.

SMOOTHEN THE SURFACE RELIEF

With the years, our skin cells regenerate slower and less regularly. This leads to irregularities of the skin surface and to a rougher, rawer or flakier appearance of the skin.

Here, the FACIAL PEELING I or the CONCENTRATE VIII will help. Mild fruit acids or enzymes loosen the cell kit, which holds the skin flakes together. REGRESSIVE SKIN REGENERATION

A special type of cell responsible for the new formation of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and degenerating the fibroblasts and the activity of which weakens.  Here is probably one of the main reasons for thinning skin, wrinkles, weakening face contours and the increasing sensitivity.

Matrix peptides in the CONCENTRATE I are capable of activating the fibroblast activity. As a complement, tripeptides in the BASIC CARE III are capable of activating inactive TGF-ß (which are particular growth factors) and to stimulate the collagen synthesis. With the years, among other things, a stronger saccharification of the collagen fibres appears. This leads them to be inflexible and fragile, which allows lines to run deeper.

Carnosin liposomes in the BASIC CARE III protect the collagen fibres from losing their elasticity by saccharification (glycation) and contribute to reduce damaged cell particles in the skin.

WEAKENING ELASTICITY

Studies show that the hyaluronic acid concentration of the skin decreases with the years. Since this gel-like substance is strongly responsible for water binding the skin, a decreasing hyaluronic acid concentration also leads to a loss of volume and elasticity.

Innovative moisturizing complexes in the MASK III and highly concentrated hyaluronic acid in the CONCENTRATE II and in the SENSITIVE CARE I have a noticeable hydrating effect on the skin.  The elasticity is improved and the skin appears more compact and stronger right away.

SKIN BECOMING INCREASINGLY DRY

Examinations indicate a reduction of the moisturizing factors (NMF) in the top areas of the skin. The reason for that is, among other things, that the barrier function of the skin decreases, and the skin therefore loses its ability to bind water. Parchment-like dryness wrinkles and dry skin flakes often are the result.

Fortunately, this problem can be alleviated with the BASIC CARE II. A complex of acting agents made from additional-leaf liposomes, nanosomes and ceramids provides the skin with exactly the needed barrier substances, the amount of which decreases with age. TEAR SACKS AND EYE-RINGS

With the years, more and more oil and water are retained in the body, especially in the area of the eyes among others. This may lead to an eye area looking swollen and to tear sacks.

L-carnitin and caffeine in the EYE CARE I activate the lipid metabolism and have visible fixating and tightening properties. Tetrapeptids, a new acting agent against tear sacks and eye rings, have a swelling draining effect and improve the elasticity and tension of the skin.

PIGMENTATION DISORDER

From the 30th  year on, the number of melanocytes drops. Since those cells produce the agent melanine protecting them from UV light, this explains the lighter skin colour during old age and the varying capacity of the skin to protect from UV rays.

Since the present melanine also spreads irregularly inside the skin, it can lead to pigmentation spots, ageing spots (lentigines), as well as over- and under-pigmented skin areas.

The new biosynthetical agents alpha arbutin, melanox and vitamin C in the CONCENTRATE VI can contribute to reduce a covering melanin production and to clear up over-pigmented skin areas. ANTI-AGEING FOR YOUR BODY

Since the skin on the body is protected, and therefore not exposed as strongly to environmental influences as the face, ageing effects are usually noticeable later in this area. But the elasticity of the skin also weakens with time, and cellulites and tension stripes tend to appear over time.
